First Capital Realty is a well-established urban location provider and one of Canada’s largest owners, developers and managers of grocery anchored, retail-focused urban properties where people live and shop for everyday life. The Company currently owns interests in 161 properties, totalling approximately 25 million square feet of gross leas-able area.
First Capital Realty Edmonton were experiencing difficulties managing their waste and recycling needs. Rates continued to rise without notice and it would often be impossible to obtain a response from waste haulers when issues, such as overfull containers or drivers leaving a mess on site, needed to be resolved. For these reasons, First Capital Realty recognized a partnership with RecycleSmart was the answer. The cost savings that our technology offered coupled with the single point of contact to manage all their waste and recycling needs was a huge draw for them.
